The mission of the Miami Lakes Congregational Church is

• • To joyfully worship God with praise and gratitude
  • To welcome all people into our church family with friendship and love
  • To strengthen our faith and our understanding of God’s love and purposes
  • To love, support, and serve people as Christ has taught us
  • To proclaim Christ’s message and invite people to a personal experience of God’s love.

Our Church was founded in 1963, as the first church in the new Town of Miami Lakes.  We are a part of the national United Church of Christ denomination.

We believe that God is still speaking to us today, and asks us to offer God’s extravagant welcome to all, especially those who have felt like they had no place in the church:  the excluded, the spiritually homeless and the questioning.
